| About | PHILAFUNK STUDIOS is Philadelphia’s newest and largest premiere recording facility, located in the heart of University City at 8 Preston Street, adjacent to The University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University.
With Pro-Tools 5.1 HD running on a 24-track control board outfitted with focusrite pre-amps, and at least four separate tracking rooms as well as a huge live performance/tracking space on the floor below, the recording possibilities are endless. Whether it’s a completely dead space, a mid-size room with wood floors, or huge live sound you desire, we can give you the sound you've always been looking for. One of the most exciting features is the option to perform live in-concert and have your show multi-track recorded into Pro-Tools while simultaneously being recorded to digital video. This means that we can create a single music video for you or an entire concert on DVD!!! We are proud to say that no other facility in Philadelphia offers this type of service with the quality, expertise and space that we have to offer. Plus, it’s completely affordable! I recently found out that I'm one of 10 finalists from the music contest on here that is eligible to win $1000 at the end of the month. In order for me to win, I must have the highest amount of votes by members, album sales and overall activity on my profile.
