********LATEST NEWS 9/30/2006******** Thanks to all for your submissions - we are still accepting more before we begin the competition. Currently we have chosen some models from the current competitors to be featured in some of our print media and on the website. **************************** PhilaFunk Records is going to have a national competition to select PhilaFunk's Next National Model for its 2007 advertising campaign. The model will be chosen solely by PhilaFunk's members through our voting system that will be created on the site. The model that our members choose will be flown down to Philadelphia for an all expenses paid 3 day professional photo shoot. We will feature the winner on PhilaFunk.com, and promote the winner nationally through print media and digital media. If you would like to compete to become PhilaFunk's Next National Model, all you have to do is be a User member on PhilaFunk with your full profile filled out, including a picture. Then simply add "PhilaFunk Next National Model" as your friend and we will review your profile. If we accept your friendship, it means you are eligible to compete. c'mawn...i'm alread IN philly :P would LOVE to represent philafunk as a model, for i don't really model anymore (would rather be behind the camera and in creative control), but am already heavily promoting us.
no worries though...i'm sure whomever you choose will be perfect ;) i just hope that love this site (and PHILLY!) as much as i do. :)
