| About | Neatly Real is an American Pop/Rock / Indie Rock band formed in Athens, Texas circa 2001 by Gary Vane. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Vane is the only official member of Neatly Real and remains solely responsible for the musical direction of the band. The band's first effort started with Vane producing a home-studio recorded five-song EP, Hard Rock Candy Sandwich, under the band name GWA, independently-released in February 2003. In 2005 the moniker changed to Neatly Real. Vane is now working on an EP entitled Chapped Laps, recorded by Robin Hood Brians (ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan) with Grammy Award-winning producer Ken Lewis (Fall Out Boy, Soul Asylum, Beastie Boys, Lenny Kravitz) calling the shots. Chapped Laps will feature artwork from Josh Clancy (Panic! At The Disco, Hawthorne Heights) and is expected to release on Vane's own Trial Records in early 2007. |
