AboutMary Scholz is a singer/songwriter from Philadelphia who's breaking onto the scene and bringing her guitar and piano with her. (Corny, she knows, but it's a heavy piano, it needs to be said!) Her music is a blend of folk rock with a bittersweet twist that leaves you wanting more.
Singing in church since the age of four, Mary started writing music in high school, and formally training her voice. She continued her studies as a Musical Theater major at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she recieved her BFA in 2006. Appearing in film and theater around Philadelphia, Mary's passion and love for music has kept her writing and playing gigs throughout the tri-state area. She's very excited to be a part of a great community like this one, and can't wait to get her name out there. Enjoy!
