| About | AorphiA was born and raised of a small town in south Mississippi. AorphiA was an adopted child from an early age.
AorphiA's real mother passed away at an early age of 22. AorphiA's Aunt and Uncle decided to provide AorphiA with a good home of loving parents. AorphiA suddenly found he had some new brothers and sisters, that were old enough to act as mother or father, in which they also took part of in making sure AorphiA was raised properly and correct. As a teenager, AorphiA was more interested in music more than anything else and took up the guitar. AorphiA was self taught. When AorphiA became an adult, he moved around alot, trying to find himself. He used to live in Atlanta, Dallas, San Antonio, Omaha, Baltimore, Hammond, Kenner, Metairie, New Orleans and now he resides in north Mississippi, about two hours south of Memphis. AorphiA's last place to reside before north Mississippi was New Orleans, this is where he wrote most of his music. He had once formed a rock band named "VykenMax" as a guitarist. This was a great learning experience and eventually members of the band parted ways, some went on to college and others decided to take a breather. AorphiA took a long breather. AorphiA then decided to pick up playing the piano and keyboards. This was a big struggle at first, because AorphiA did not know how to read or write music on the keyboards. As time went on, AorphiA learned that playing the keyboards and writing music on them, was much like taking an influence, feeling or emotion and piecing it all together like a puzzle. Again, AorphiA was self taught and never took piano or music lessons. Today when AorphiA writes music, he simply goes with the flow and much to his surprise, AorphiA finds himself writing music in various ways of being able to reach into different influences, feelings and emotions. Some people ask if AorphiA was affected by Hurricane Katrina. Yes... AorphiA was affected in a very big way, but relocated to north, Mississippi due to the mass destruction. |
| Press | AorphiA signed with New Vibes Music for the use of one of his tunes titled "Right of Passage" that was placed and accepted for a Compilation CD titled "Echoes of Tuvalu". It was rated #1 on the New Age Charts as the Top Album for the month of August 2006.
