| About | Alexandria "Brinae Ali" Bradley has been walking in purpose with a multitude of gifts that was bestowed upon her through heredity and culture. She has been blessed with extraordinary talent liked to that of a magician. The performing arts are like creating magic. For instance, music taps into the essence of the soul and has the power to transform the condition of the human spirit.
As a practitioner of the arts, it is a responsibility to utilize every opportunity to enhance her craft. At age 14, her understanding and appreciation of the arts was amplified through a host of opportunities springing from exposure to the tap community and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Bradley was introduced to such tap masters as Ted Levy, Jimmy slyde, and Savion Glover. It was from these experiences that her performance career took off. In 2001 she became a member of Savion Glover's tap company TiiDii for 4 years in New York City, while attending Marymount Manhattan College. This experience allowed her to travel and perform in Europe at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France and the Nijinsky Awards in Monoco, France. She was also apart of Improvography at the Joyce Theater. Because Ali has such a love for music, she decided to take a major risk and persue her career full time by incorporating her knowledge of music and dance with her voice. She was afforded the opportunity to do solo work in Hamburg, Germany for four months. It was there that she decided to move to Philadelphia. Once she move to Philadelphia, Ali knew that it would take complete dedication and self determination to put herself into existence of the public eye. Ali would take her portable tap floor to different music jam sessions. People were amazed because they had never seen a female hoofer. On January 21, 2006 Ali went to the Philadelphia Clef Club of Performing Arts to sit in with a band and the director of educational department Lovett Hines thought he heard two drummers on stage. From this experience doors opened for her to produce a show called Sound and Movement, in honor of Black History month in celebration of Jazz and Tap Culture. After the show, Ali continued to practice and train at the Clef Club with drummer Khary Shaheed. They together formed the band & JAK B Experience with Jon Michel(bass) and Barney McKenna (guitar). Their first performance debut together as a band was granted by Warren Oree of the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble at the Ogontz Grill as apart of the Pre-West Oak Lane Jazz Fest series. The JAK B Experience have performed at the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival and Wadsworth Community Outreach Day. The band is currently working on their recording album. |

Wishing you all the very best...
I recently found out that I'm one of 10 finalists from the music contest on here that is eligible to win $1000 at the end of the month. In order for me to win, I must have the highest amount of votes by members, album sales and overall activity on my profile.
The night of Valentine's Day (music IS my lover) I recorded a few songs and they are now for sale as well. If it's been a while since you've seen my profile, do take a listen. Please check out my myspace profile too- there's a lot more to see, read and hear there (I'm a writer and videographer as well).
*with respect and gratitude*
thank you for your time and consideration.
in love, for love, feel love, be love, with love, my love, from love
