| Press | During the 80's a star was born (Young Dellz) a rap lyricist from Philly. He has two sisters Ebony and Melanie, and two brothers Roemello and Rodrick. Young Dellz was raised by his mother Regina and lived with his two brothers. Young Dellz has been in the game for 2 years now. He started rappin at the age of 16. As he was growing up he never saw himself being a lyricist. His main focus was to be a business man. When he was younger, his grandfather always taught Young Dellz to never be a follower - always be a leader and become good at what you do. So from there on out his main goal was to have control of his own business. As he got older he saw something else he liked... (dancing and music). When Young Dellz was about eight years old, he became a Michael Jackson fan. Young Dellz also had every cd that Michael Jackson made. At the age of 14 he began to listen to various artist such as Biggie, 2 Pac, Jay-z, and his favorite artist Cassidy. As he listened and watched their skills he realized that he wanted to become a lyricist. He began to write raps. Then he became a little confident and went to his uncle's studio and put down a track to see what it sounded like. After the responses he got from his family he was inspired and began to write more. Before anyone knew it, Raydell Collins became Young Dellz. He became so good at rappin he began writing songs in no time. Young Dellz is also featured on the new hit single entitled "Tru Butta."
